RandScape began as a programming experiment, and unexpectedly produced
intriguing images. The original
informal write-up became an
article, which was subsequently published in
Artificial Life Journal, available as a pdf file. Unfortunately, the graphic reproduction was atrocious, but all the originals are available in the article.
