As previously mentioned, these are NOT handkerchiefs!

Handkerchiefs are those mass-produced snot rags or pocket decorations that are usually not large enough to easily tie around the head or neck, or to do much of anything else with that might be useful. Bandannas, by contrast, are large enough to be multi-functional and they often exhibit artwork with themes that have historically included political campaigns; patriotism; sports events or figures; banners for associations, clubs, societies, or places; cartoons; advertisements; and event promotions (Weiss 1990); ....and they can still be functional on the cowpoke trail. The list of potential uses below merely contains my own favorites (most all of which were suggested by others). If you come up with further ideas for use of the MycoBandanna, please let me know and, if I deem them appropriate, I will add them to this list. Enjoy.

Another commercial site that sells a combination bandanna/headband is "The Danna". They have a pretty comprehensive list of uses on their site too. Pretty cool. Check it out

I just returned from a camping trip (August 2001). I also foud myself using the bandannas I carried for these purposes.
