Telco legislation
Well - it looks like the the Telecommunication and Trade Subcommittee
ended their work without action on HB 3464 or any other Universal
Service legislation. I talked with a US West government relations
person a few minutes ago, he said he was at a funeral this morning and
got the news that the legislation was DOA also, not a good day for him.
I am concerned about our levels of rural telecommunications service and
infrastructure -
