There is actually a lot of information available about DaDaism, which I
didn't even know existed until a few short years ago. Most people
typically regard it as an avant-garde movement, the DaDaists themselves
considered it "anti-art," and the intellectuals have argued that by creating
"anti-art art" the DaDaists defeated themselves. By looking through all
the material I have gathered onto these Web Pages, I'll leave it up to the
reader to decide what DaDaism is.
While I was in Germany from July 1992-July 1993, I got involved with a drama
group in Leverkusen which was working on a dadaistic "Collage" - a three hour
long production involving various dadaistic elements. I have two reviews of
the production, which was entitled "Oh Du, geliebte meiner 27 Sinne" (see the
page on Kurt Schwitters for more details).
