What you can expect in your Harvest Box

With each Harvest Box, we make an effort to provide a balanced assortment of salad vegetables, cooking vegetables, and fruits, when available.  We emphasize standard vegetables each week (potatoes,  carrots, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, fruit), adding one or two more unusual items (herbs, arugula, fava beans) to each box.  Recipes are provided for less familiar vegetables.

Your box might include any of the following:

Salad and greens
lettuce, mustards, spinach, chard, arugula, cress, salad mix

Fruiting vegetables
cucumber, tomato, eggplant, sweet peppers

Brassicas
broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, collards, kale

Roots
carrots, potatoes, radishes, turnips, beets

Alliums
sweet onions, red onions, leeks, shallots, garlic

Vegetables
peas, green beans, soybeans, shell beans, corn, winter squash

Fruits
