Youth and Adult Programs

Programs for adults and families include fun, interactive, and informative nature walks at natural areas around Corvallis and classes at the nature center.
Avery House Calendar

Each of our youth programs feature inquiry-based learning, hands-on activities, group-initiative games, storytelling, art projects, and journaling. We provide positive learning experiences at our local natural areas to help students understand how our local ecosystems function and their role in maintaining a healthy environment.

Avery House Nature Center offers in-service programs for grades K-5, summer camps for grades K-8, and preschool nature education programs. We also work with various youth education programs in the Corvallis/Benton County area.
