About the Resource Efficiency Program
SAVE NATURAL RESOURCES AND MONEY IN THE PROCESS...with The Get SMART! Resource Efficiency Program (REP)

The Get SMART! REP provides FREE on-site assistance and education to businesses, organizations and agencies within Benton County to reduce consumption of water and energy and prevent solid waste. Participants have saved thousands of dollars annually, with Get SMART!'s help.

Get SMART! is a non-profit organization that operates through the Corvallis Environmental Center. After a large grant in 2000 from Oregon DEQ to operate in Yamhill and Benton Counties for two years, they were awarded a $10,000 grant in 2004 and additional funds in 2005 from the Benton County Environmental Health Dep't to resume providing their successful, no-cost services...all in the name of waste prevention.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN SAVING RESOURCES AND MONEY, and want to learn whether REP services would be appropriate for your workplace, please contact the REP Program Director for more information or to sign up.
Thanks to renewed funding from Benton County for fiscal 2006-07, REP is once again looking for participants.
