certified lumber grown in the USA. Smart Wood lumber is harvested from small privately
owned forests that are managed with sustainable forestry techniques. This means that they
are using low impact logging, and then replanting with a mix of indigenous species. This
creates proper forest diversity and ensures future generations a healthy forest.
In addition, we use only water based urethane finishes which are easier on our environment
and our employees. We give all our wood products a guarantee because we believe that our
furniture should last at least as long as it takes to grow a tree. We also make futons and
other futon furniture. In addition,we sell innerspring cotton mattress. All futons and
mattresses can be made from organic cotton.
