Frame completed: At home in my driveway, wheels on, the "humm-E" weighs in at 650 lbs., a bit more than I expected. Pat concentrated on making the frame strong, and I am convinced that I could hit the wall at a race track at 100 mph, if I could go that fast, or survive an encounter with a SUV. Cost of the welding and steel: $3,000.
Here the battery boxes are in place.
