Octavia was inspired by the character Doc Ock in the movie Spiderman 2. She has robotic arms like his, only hers are golden colored. Octavia was the first doll I repainted. She was also given a haircut and new earrings.Octavia has a canvas jacket, leather pants, and a spandex halter top.
The arms were made of a decorative brass chain and stiffened with wire. The claws are made of brass sheet metal and wire. The arms are attached to her back with more sheet metal and wire, and the "spine" is made of Sculpey clay. Everything is held together with my favorite glue in the world, JB-Kwik. It is grey and blobby but it is worth it.
