Web-weaving ... In the constant process of reinventing myself, I am a
never-married, middle-aged byke in a loving polyamorous relationship
with a man I met nearly a decade ago on the Internet. And enjoying assorted
crushes and flirtations as well.
I live in a charming, 92-year-old "rural vernacular" house in historic Albany, Oregon, with my partner and his two cats. In my "free" (hah!) time, I act, direct and design sets and stuff for Albany Civic Theater. Theater is what I love to do. Work is what I have to do. I also dabble in the decorative arts, from stamping, collage and mail art to book- and mask-making. But mostly, these days, I knit. I spend way too much time on-line; while my Usenet addiction is more or less over, I keep an active LiveJournal, along with multiple blogs. I'm fascinated less by the technology (although I can geek out with the best of them) than by the social and cultural implications of all this New Stuff.
