| Unlike many creatures, sharks form a continuous line on the evolutionary
tree. They got it right the first time.
Recently they found that sharks are cave sleepers. They don't have to move all the time. When the shark feels different rhythms, these movements are sensed by the lateral line (organs that run down both sides of the shark). The shark then moves up from down or goes someplace right. |
