for the Oregonian's Christmas 2000 Gift Guide. It is the thirteenth
title on Louie Records. This CD is a continuation of the sequenced or over-dubbed
approach used on earlier efforts: Report from a Log (005), Ten
Stories (010), Valerie's Brown's Uneasy Sleep (014), and in earlier
works, You're Invited, Shadow in the Water and the project from the
mid-eighties, You're Invited. "I wanted musician friends to play
over a variety of grooves that I thought fit their personalities. They could
listen once beforehand if they wanted, but they only had one take."
