In this scripture reading we hear that Daniel knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom. This thought is recorded in Daniel 6:10. We, too, must maintain a regular schedule of meeting the Lord in prayer. It would be well for each of us to check and see if there has been any tendency to neglect our times with God.

Have you met with the Lord yet today? Do you regularly come to "the throne of grace" to "obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need"? Hebrews 4:16.

Is there any grass on your path?

No day is well spent without spending time with God.
