Mother’s Day Service

Children’s message:  Jesus Is Our Lamp   Revelation 21:9-14

Sermon:  Authorized, Not Abandoned     John 17:1-11
  1. When have you felt abandoned?
  2. When we feel we have been abandoned, Jesus is there.
  3. The Son gives eternal life.
  4. The faith of many such as the Lord’s servant, Ruth,
     are given for our example. 
  5. Humility leads to service. “God opposes the proud but
     gives grace to the humble.” 1 Peter 5:5
