Sermon:  God Is Our Refuge and Strength 
Text:    Psalm 46

Outline:
  1. God was the refuge and strength for the Israelites when
     they were under siege with no other hope.
  2. God was the refuge and strength for Luther throughout the
     course of his life, from his early days as the reformer
     to his deathbed confession of faith.
  3. God is the refuge and strength for us when we suffer under
     affliction and when we face our own death.
  4. God is the refuge and strength for all believers when he
     enables us to fulfill our calling to carry his Gospel truth
     to the world.
