Sermon:  Faith Driven to the Edge of Unbelief
Text:    Matthew 11:2-15

Outline:
  l. If ever a man could have a sense of himself from the time
     he was a child, it had to be John the Baptist.
  2. But now, in prison, John toyed with the idea that he may
     have misidentified Jesus as the Christ, making his ministry
     a total waste.
  3. In such doubts, John and we might like a miracle to confirm
     our faith, but we have to be patient and content that our
     sins are forgiven in Christ, that "the poor have good news
     preached to them." Matt. 11:5.
