On Tuesday April 8th, 2008 at 7:00 PM, Harry Jans, international speaker and founding member of the Dutch Rock Garden Society, will talk on Growing Alpines in the "hills" of Holland. The talk will be focused on his rock garden, alpine house and tufa wall, including building information and growing techniques. His talk will be held at the Eugene Garden Club, 1645 High St. and is sponsored by the Emerald Chapter of the North American Rock Garden Society. The meeting is free and open to the public. Door prizes and refreshments follow. Call Jim, 484-1284 with questions.

This calendar is generally under construction and new events are added sometimes at the whim and inspiration of the group. The public is welcome to all Emerald Chapter events! Events include refreshments and also frequently include plant door prizes.
