Cat Stuff

Black cats are good luck! My pet humans, who adopted me from the Heartland Humane Society, adore me. And no wonder. I am a total love: glossy, ultra-cute, and a purrr machine !

Flaps, age nearly six months
Age about six months. Hand-made, open-pile, wool rugs are a very high-mileage item for cat homes. A hundred cats can work their claws on them for a hundred years and leave no damage. Unlike synthetics, odors and stains can be completely removed from wool.

Flaps
The wool rugs are warm and comfy too!

Flaps' Condo
Flaps' first political testimony, given from a local platform: Ladies and gentlemen, I wish to offer support to Tao ze frenchy kitty (who is running for President of France) Read his program at Kittyworld. "The world will be better with a CIC (Cat in charge)." The Whole World should immediately adopt his program!

Flaps' scratch pad

Age four months. Scratch pad made from a very old, wool pile, remnant and used by several generations of kitties. Spike with field ribbon is now removed to prevent Flaps from chewing on the ribbon!

Early Christmas
Age about 4 months. Early Christmas, with lotsa toy mousies, a wiggle-legs frog, and a walking jacket.

Bird-watching the old magnolia

The baby grows up and has spring fever. Watching birds in the old magnolia. Notice the claw marks on the window ledge from many generations of kitties who didn't have a shelf to jump onto!

monty sleeping

Shhhh, the new "big baby" is asleep. We adopted Monty as a companion for Flaps.

Monty "hides" from Flaps

At first, Monty would hide from Flaps, who was very wild with excitement to have a cat playmate.

Sleeping Monty Closeup

Monty is a very affectionate and loving boy who loves to sleep.

Flaps and Monty on the back porch

We both like to laze on the back porch.

Yes, I am gorgeous

Yes, I am gorgeous, even if I did spend part of my life on the streets.

kneading on my space blanket

Life is bliss with a real space blanket to knead-bread-on.

cuddle cups

Guarding the downstairs.

Monty is satisfied that he has done a good job

Ok, I've done a good job. Flaps' ears are clean.

Monty bird-watching
What better way to spend a frosty day than to watch birdies "up close and personal". Better than the junk on TV!
